Procedure

  • Duration of operation: 1 hour

  • Anesthesia: Local or general

  • Nights in the clinic: Day hospital

  • Common risks: Ecchymosis, swelling, temporary numbness, temporary irregularity of the skin

  • Uncommon risks: Infection, excessive scarring, asymmetry, bleeding, permanent numbness, reappearance

  • Pain and discomfort: 3-7 days

  • Follow-up after surgery: 1 week, 4 weeks, 3 months

  • Absence from work: 1-2 weeks

  • Sport: - 2 weeks: walking, 4 weeks: jogging, 6 weeks: everything

  • ​Result: 12 weeks for the final result. Scars continue to improve after 18 months
